Underneath
THE OFFICIAL VERSION:
Proud to be a Brit. Born and raised in London, with German and Sri Lankan roots.
I grew up in the gym. I trained twenty to thirty hours a week and competed in gymnastics at a very high level. In my early twenties, I competed in natural bikini bodybuilding and went on to win British and European titles. As you might be able to tell by now, I love a bit of sparkle and a bit of magic.
At the same time, I grew up around meditation. My mum taught yoga to teenagers back when yoga was still considered that weird hippy thing to do. She taught us how to slow down, how to relax, how to notice ourselves, and how to connect to the universe. I was fascinated by all of it, even then.
My dad’s passion for sport also ran straight through me. He used to drive me to Old Trafford, all the way from London. Just to watch United play. His little girl was so into football, his sons not interested at all. I was already trying to sense what was happening beyond the physical performance. The human side of it all.
I’ve always been curious about people. I watch how they move, how they speak, what they don’t say. Posture, tone, timing, energy. I want to understand where people are coming from and why they do what they do. And more than anything, I really want to see people find deep contentment.
When I was seventeen, I trained in NLP. I was by far the youngest person in the room. Sitting there, something clicked. I didn’t need convincing. I just knew. This was my calling. This was me. I later trained in Generative Trance and somatic work, drawn by a desire to take myself deep so that I could hold that space for others too.
Alongside sport, I have run a global design and branding agency. I managed teams of over a hundred people, worked across different countries, and spent time with billion-dollar clients.
THE BIT MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW:
At seventeen, my body collapsed and I was diagnosed as severely anaemic. It was the first time my body said no in a way I couldn’t ignore. I’d been treating myself like a machine, and suddenly I had to listen.
Over time, I realised I’d become very good at performing and quite disconnected at the same time. From my body. From rest. From being human.
I went looking for ways to heal and rebalance. Breathwork. Cold exposure. Nutrition. Plants. Learning how energy actually works in a body when it’s supported rather than overridden. I found my way back to a place where my energy truly thrives, and it has ever since.
That’s why I care so much about what happens beneath the surface. Why I’m drawn to quiet moments and honest conversations. Why I’m deeply attuned to athletes when confidence wobbles, identity tightens around results, or something essential feels lost.
Athletes are often treated like machines. Leaders are too. Teams are made up of humans who feel, adapt, and carry pressure in their bodies.
So this is the work I do.
I bring the human back into performance.
